The Irish Deer Commission is a leading Deer Organisation in Ireland. As the only Deer Organisation registered under the Regulation of Lobbying Act 2015, our members have a voice when it comes to the future of deer and deer stalking in Ireland. We represent the interests, and lobby on behalf of our members/ deer stalkers.
We run a busy schedule of events and are recognised and respected by all relevant government agencies, and stakeholders.,
As the only Deer Organisation to raise parlimentary questions regarding the deer licence delays and other related matters, we were instrumental in securing addtional resources to help address the current backlog.
We organise numerous awareness and educational campaigns, including a programme for the Junior Educational Cycle.
We are the first choice of national, international and regional media on all matters relating to deer in Ireland.
