The Irish Deer Commission is an active member of Partnership for Action Against Wildlife Crime in Ireland (PAW Ireland) both PAW Ireland and PAW Northern Ireland include a diverse range of members from conservation, hunting, animal welfare, country sports, and government. PAW brings together statutory and non-statutory agencies and interested parties with the common goal of combating wildlife crime, through publicity, education and campaigning.
A new information leaflet on Wild Deer and the Law will be launched at the conference, highlighting the various offences against our wild deer, while acknowledging the important role licensed deer stalkers play in deer management.
